New Student Orientation - Orange County Campus
Description
New Student Orientations are encouraged for all new students, students with fewer than 12 completed credits, students with fewer than 12 transferred credits, and strongly recommended for all students.
Questions & Answers
You should bring your Durham Tech student ID number and password(s) if you have already set up your Student Email and/or Self-Service accounts. Also, bring pen and paper to take notes.
New Student Orientations begin promptly at the start time noted. If you are unable to attend the entire orientation, have to leave early, or arrive late, you may sign up to attend another orientation. Please select a date that will allow you to attend the entire time.
Seating is limited and reserved for new students attending New Student Orientations. There is limited open seating in the lobby.
For Orange County Campus New Student Orientations, check in at the Orange County Campus lobby for your room location. A parking pass will be emailed to you the day before your New Student Orientation.
If you are an individual with a disability and need an accommodation(s) for the New Student Orientation, contact Accessibility Services at 919-536-7200 ext. 1105. Please give staff at least two weeks notice prior to the orientation you are registered to attend to process your accommodation request.
Students who do not attend a New Student Orientation may make alternate arrangements to complete academic advising prior to registration. Visit Advising Services for your next steps.
